Wrightstown Monthly Meeting was established in 1734 by Bucks Quarterly Meeting out of Buckingham Monthly Meeting. The Orthodox branch of this monthly meeting was discontinued in 1833. Its members were transferred to Buckingham Monthly Meeting (Orthodox). The Hicksite branch was the forerunner of the current Wrightstown Monthly Meeting.
